# Slow search results on large tenants

Full text search over our archive takes four to five seconds to return anything. Is that expected at our data volume?

We rebuilt the search index for a few large tenants and saw meaningful improvement, but it is not automatic yet. Send us your tenant slug and we will rebuild yours too while we work on making that self-serve.

Ours got noticeably faster after the reindex too, took about a day to kick in.

Reached out and got our tenant reindexed manually, went from several seconds down to under a second.

If your search feels slow, just ask, a manual reindex is quick on our end while we work on making it automatic.
