# Letting members unsubscribe from all notifications

A customer wants to stop receiving any emails from the portal but still be able to sign in and read answers.

The unsubscribe link in any notification email works without signing in first, and it only turns off emails, the account and any existing sessions are unaffected.

Can confirm, unsubscribed from a link in an old email and I can still log in fine.

Confirmed, the unsubscribe link works without signing in and only touches email preferences, the account itself stays fully intact.
