# Favicon still shows the default icon

We uploaded a custom logo but the browser tab favicon still shows the Forumcat default icon.

Favicon is a separate upload from the logo, Settings → Branding → Favicon, easy to miss since they sit right next to each other.

Yep that was it, I only ever touched the logo field, missed the favicon one entirely.

Also worth a hard refresh after uploading, browsers cache favicons pretty aggressively.

Same mixup here, thought the logo upload also covered the favicon.

Also ran into this, the separate favicon field is easy to miss on first pass.
