Date formatting does not respect European locales

Question

Timestamps show in month day year order even for members whose browser locale is set to a European format.

Confirmed, timestamps are hardcoded to month day year regardless of browser locale today. Locale aware formatting is on the list, just not scheduled yet.

No workaround today beyond mentally converting the format, sorry. It is a real fix, not a quick toggle, since it touches every date render site.
